This team manages talent development for over 2.2 million Walmart associates, delivering scalable and resilient solutions using advanced technologies and cloud-native principles. They drive continuous improvement through data-driven practices, collaboration, and innovation. Team members contribute to software development, infrastructure, and tooling that enhance productivity and associate experience. Engaging with stakeholders, they translate complex needs into actionable plans while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity. The group fosters technical growth and operational excellence to support Walmart’s mission and business goals.
What you'll do:

• Own delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software intelligence and development velocity.
• Assist in solution design, evaluating trade-offs to build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with platform objectives.
• Engage stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and define success metrics.
• Monitor application performance, ensure adherence to milestones, and support continuous integration and deployment.
• Promote engineering excellence through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and innovation initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
• Proven ability to deliver scoped features and models through iterative development and continuous integration.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance software solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in solution design, technical leadership, and applying scalable, secure software architecture principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Commitment to engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality, reliable software.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
