Job Description

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

U.S. Bank is seeking a Salesforce Platform & Architecture Manager to lead our Consumer Lending Lead Management technology team. This role is responsible for people leadership, technical ownership, and platform governance across Salesforce and related systems that support multiple consumer lending business lines.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background as both a Salesforce architect and people manager, with experience leading onshore and offshore teams, delivering enterprise‑grade solutions, and maintaining strong risk and security controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers, QA resources, and offshore contractors supporting Consumer Lending lead management platforms
  • Serve as the technical owner for multiple platforms, including two Salesforce instances, Philosophy, and Total Expert
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management for direct reports and vendor resources
  • Drive architectural decisions that support scalable, secure, and enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions while minimizing unnecessary customization
  • Oversee development standards, QA testing practices, and release readiness in partnership with internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with secure coding standards, data retention policies, and separation‑of‑duties requirements
  • Manage platform risk control reviews, annual secure coding reviews, and production access monitoring
  • Oversee entitlement reviews, access management, and ServiceNow assignment groups for ongoing platform support
  • Handle vendor management responsibilities, including timecard approvals, contract updates, headcount validation, and participation in contract discussions
  • Partner with business stakeholders across home lending, dealer services, national sales teams, and corporate programs to support lead management, marketing campaigns, and prospecting capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Significant hands‑on Salesforce experience with a strong architectural background
  • Prior experience managing technical teams, including onshore employees and offshore contractors
  • Experience acting as a technical owner for enterprise platforms, including responsibility for security, risk controls, and access governance
  • Proven ability to design and drive enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions
  • Experience with secure coding practices, data retention, entitlement reviews, and risk/compliance processes
  • Minimum 2–3 years of people management experience and 2–3 years in an architecture role (or a combined manager/architect role)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium), JIRA for test evidence, and ServiceNow for ticket management
  • Familiarity with vendor management processes and offshore delivery models
  • Experience supporting multiple business lines in a regulated environment
  • Exposure to or interest in Salesforce AI capabilities, including Data Cloud and Agentforce

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of relevant technical experience
  • Five or more years of leading a software engineering team

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $126,820.00 - $149,200.00
