About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Deposit Products Group (DPG) Test Services Team group within Consumer Payments and Deposits.  This role will be instrumental in leading the automation transformation moving from manual to automated scripts.

*In this role, you will:*

  • Lead multiple systems quality assurance testing initiatives across complex software platforms
  • Serve as a key contributor to systems QA planning, strategy, and execution
  • Design, develop, and automate test cases and procedures; evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Lead testing, development, and project teams to provide training, resolve escalated issues, assess testing needs, and recommend improvements
  • Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and technical leadership to QA team members
  • Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives impacting one or more lines of business
  • Collaborate with leaders to define and establish QA processes, templates, standards, and best practices
  • Engage with senior leaders to support business objectives and drive quality-focused outcomes
  • Identify, recommend, and implement compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
  • Drive the transition from manual testing scripts to scalable, automated testing solutions

*Required Qualifications:*

  • 5+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience and systems or application testing , or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Proven experience leading enterprise test automation transformation initiatives, driving the shift from manual to scalable, automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks, including Selenium and Tricentis Tosca, to design, execute, and maintain scalable test automation solutions.

*Desired Qualifications:*

  • Experience leading test automation transformation initiatives across complex environments.
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities within commercial banking or financial services environments, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering across business, technology, operations, and testing teams to ensure UAT outcomes align with business requirements and risk standards.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior testers, providing oversight, knowledge sharing, and quality reviews to strengthen UAT execution and team capability.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with experience creating polished executive‑level decks that translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence to manage work intake, track delivery, and document requirements, decisions, and processes
  • Demonstrated experience using ALM Octane to manage requirements, test planning, defect tracking, and end‑to‑end delivery within Agile product teams
  • Holds AS1 or AS2 certification, or equivalent credentials, supporting effective execution in a regulated, large‑enterprise environment
