Job Description

The Planning Framework Manager is a hands‑on Power Apps builder who designs and develops canvas applications from scratch that run the business planning and intake process for Consumer & Business Banking. This role owns the Power App user experience—from app design and logic to integrations with SharePoint, Jira, and other data sources.

In addition, this role builds and maintains Power Automate flows that automate routing, validation, notifications, and data synchronization, creating reliable data foundations that support reporting and insights across the planning and intake process.

Over time, the Planning Framework Manager will also support early technical reviews for incoming technology requests, acting as a planning advisor to identify impacted systems, integration needs, and feasibility risks before work enters delivery.

This is a builder-first role requiring deep, hands-on Power Apps canvas app design and development experience, ideal for someone who enjoys designing, developing, and building canvas applications from scratch to be used daily by cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

Power Apps Development & Planning Workflows

  • Design, build, and maintain Power Apps canvas applications supporting intake and planning workflows
  • Own Power App UX and logic end to end, including screen design, components, validation, and optimization
  • Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint lists, Jira, and other data sources
  • Build and enhance Power Automate flows for routing, approvals, notifications, and data synchronization
  • Evolve the planning framework overtime, including integrating AI and Copilot-enabled capabilities to improve request quality and reduce rework

Technical Review & Architecture Support

  • Review incoming technology requests to identify system impacts, integration needs, and feasibility considerations
  • Partner with technology and delivery teams to surface dependencies and solutions
  • Translate technical input into clear recommendations supporting prioritization and tradeoffs.
  • Use data and analysis to improve efficiency, consistency, and planning outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Six or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Advanced, hands‑on experience designing and building Power Apps canvas applications from scratch in production environments.
  • Experience owning end-to-end Power App UX and logic, including multi-screen design, components, formulas, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate supporting integrations across SharePoint, Jira, and Power BI.
  • Strong technical and data fluency to assess downstream technology impacts.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services preferred.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
