Business Systems Analyst

What does a successful Business Systems Analyst do at Fiserv?

As a successful Business Systems Analyst, you will work to allow our customers to store cash across a diversified network of financial institutions, send and receive real-time transfers and access and transact with their custodial accounts through custom web applications, third-party integrations and API's.

What you will do:

  • Support customer integrations and onboarding processes
  • Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Maintain, improve, and test business systems including Finxact (core banking), Savana (payments), Prelim (account opening) and Alloy (compliance/KYC)
  • Write detailed product requirements and technical specifications to accelerate development
  • Document processes and workflows for regulatory requirements, internal audit, and team knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements

What you will need to have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in product analysis, business system admin/analysis, or related roles in technology or financial services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, detailed requirements documentation
  • Technical aptitude and comfort working with software systems, APIs, and databases
  • Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services strongly preferred
  • Business acumen and analytical thinking to understand both technical and business requirements
  • Creativity and problem-solving ability to identify process improvements

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in rapid company growth (from startup to mid-size)
  • Familiarity with banking systems, payment processing, or compliance platforms
  • Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, data workflows, and digital assets
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in banking or financial services
