Are you a high-level analyst who thrives at the intersection of operational strategy and digital transformation? Airbus Helicopters is seeking a dynamic Procurement Systems and Business Analyst to serve as a cornerstone of our Procurement Operations in either Grand Prairie, TX or Columbus, MS.

This isn't just a data role; it is a leadership position designed for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between complex analytics and executive decision-making. As the primary architect of our AGSS business line’s financial margins and pricing, you will directly influence the profitability and efficiency of our supply chain. Simultaneously, you will spearhead our digital evolution, developing the tools and forecasting models that mitigate global disruptions and ensure our fleet stays in the air.

The Procurement team's mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and contributing to the overall competitiveness of the company. Our team members ensure on-time delivery and on-quality of equipment and systems, drawing on their expertise in Industrial, Operations & Quality Management, and strong relationship building skills to problem-solve and proactively mitigate supply chain issues.

On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It’s here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your Challenges:

Performance Management and Data Analysis: 30%

  • Perform data analysis and generate reports and data sets using specialized domain knowledge and build data sets based on business analytic indicators.
  • Maintain, update, and revise key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Validate, organize, and assemble weekly, monthly, and annual data for the Procurement OPS team focusing on PR to PO cycles, PO confirmations, and Past Due orders..
  • Complete Missing Part lists monthly including root cause analysis for the Executive Dashboard.
  • Complete required monthly PowerPoint presentations for executive review / discussion.

Forecast Management / Analysis: 20%

  • Develop robust forecasts for AHI across departments
  • Facilitate operational buyer communication of forecast information to the supply base including risk management and action plans.
  • Flow supplier forecast feedback to internal customers to identify risks.
  • Set metrics to measure forecasting and demand planning traceability and accuracy.
  • Work with the Planning Dept. to forecast new spare parts.

AGSS Business Lead: 20%

  • Lead the AGSS Business Line.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with all levels of leadership.
  • Maintain Yearly Pricing report.
  • Manage On-Time Delivery (OTD) from suppliers to customers.
  • Point of contact for secondary level items.
  • Work directly with financial controllers on managing margins.

OTD Supplier Management: 15%

  • Partner with operational buyers, Supply Chain Quality and Strategic Procurement to review supplier data and help with Supplier Evaluation and Development.
  • Build risk management tools and recommend improvement plans.

Digital Transformation: 10%

  • Serve as Data Officer for the Department.
  • Primary point of contact for digital transformation, working with the Digital Team.
  • Create, develop, and maintain digital tools assigned to Procurement.

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Must possess a a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (four years)
  • Have six (6) + years in financial analysis, business planning, forecasting, MRP planning, program management, customer support or supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience in building reporting tools and performance metrics and a broad knowledge of statistical inventory techniques
  • Supply Chain Management, Strong Data Analysis, Business Insight, Logistics
  • Ability to understand forecasting structure and collaborate with suppliers on future requirements
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills
  • Strong MS Word skills
  • Strong Outlook skills
  • Strong SAP, MRP System

Travel Required:

  • Up to 10% Domestic and International

Citizenship:

  • Authorized to work in the US without current or future need for visa sponsorship

Physical Requirements:

  • Onsite or remote: Onsite 90-100 %; participates in a Hybrid schedule
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings daily
  • Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. daily
  • Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications daily
  • Equipment Operation: able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment daily.
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs daily.
  • Lifting:  able to lift documents, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs daily.
  • Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture occasionally.
  • Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer daily.
  • Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving occasionally.
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor daily.
  • Travel:  able to travel independently and at short notice rarely.
  • Walking:  able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces daily.
  • PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
