What you'll do...

Role summary:
Drive data-derived insights across a wide range of retail divisions by developing advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms and computational algorithms based on business initiatives
Direct the gathering of data, assess data validity and synthesize data into large analytics datasets to support project goals
Lead a team of Data Scientists to solve problems in Global Sourcing domain using advanced Machine Learning and Gen AI.
Utilize big data analytics and advanced data science techniques to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in data. Determine additional data needed to support insights
Build and train AI/ML models for replication for future projects
About the team:
The International Data Science team employs advanced analytical techniques and machine learning to address complex business challenges across global markets. Utilizing expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization, the team delivers actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team ensures scalable deployment of models while maintaining high standards of data quality and governance. Members drive continuous improvement by adopting innovative tools and best practices, fostering a results-oriented environment aligned with business objectives to generate value for the organization worldwide.
What you'll do:
Identify and source relevant data from different business domains, ensuring data quality and suitability for analysis.
Develop, test, and deploy advanced analytical models using programming languages such as Python and SQL.
Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
Create clear and impactful data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor junior team members in modeling, coding, and analytical best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Support scalability and sustainability of models in production environments through robust evaluation and tuning.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling with proficiency in Python programming.
Strong knowledge of statistical methods, time series analysis, and advanced analytical modeling techniques.
Expertise in data visualization tools and best practices to effectively communicate complex data insights.
Proven ability to identify, assess, and source relevant business data from different databases including SQL and NoSQL.
Skilled in model deployment, validation, tuning, and ensuring scalability and sustainability of analytical models.
Familiarity with MLOps practices and software testing methodologies to ensure robust code development.
Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
