Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Analyst in Roy, Utah to develop and maintain SolarWinds dashboards, configure modules for monitoring, optimize database performance monitoring, as well as develop and maintain application health and performance monitoring.Our ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL queries for database management and be familiar with PowerShell scripting.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Establish and document SolarWinds monitoring, notifications, and incident mitigation.

• Upgrade and maintain SolarWinds application, modules, licensing and hardware.

• Provide technical guidance and training to the Network Operations Center (NOC) admins.

• Coordinate/Assist with providing outage data and guidance to Incident Response Teams during outages.

This role will require candidates who possess the ability to maintain flexibility in managing changing priorities and deadlines. Candidates must be self-starters who operate and execute with minimal supervision, as well as the ability to verbally communicate and document SolarWinds findings with management team in high pressure environments.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience; 1 year of related experience with a Master's; or 0 years with a PhD.

• Must be a US Citizen with an ACTIVE U.S. Government DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.

• Must have program specific ACTIVE Special Access Program (SAP).

• Must Possess a current DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II (Security+, etc.) or higher.

• Must Possess or be able to obtain SolarWinds Certified Professional Certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

• Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

• Current Top-Secret clearance.

• Current possession of SolarWinds Certified Professional.

• Willing to work in deadline driven environment, excellent communication and speaking skills, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications.

• 5+ years technical SolarWinds experience.

• Strong knowledge of internal Northrop Grumman IT and Cyber processes a plus.

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Dell, HP, or other certifications are helpful.

• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
