What you'll do...

Role summary:
As a Software Engineer III, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions to ensure system reliability. This role involves managing project requirements, coding, testing, and delivering high-quality software while mentoring small engineering teams. You will drive continuous improvement through innovative approaches, maintain compliance with standards, and support business objectives by delivering sustainable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.

Our team delivers scalable, high-performance software solutions that support post-purchase customer journeys, including order lifecycle management, fulfillment orchestration, delivery visibility, exception handling, and returns. We develop reliable platforms that reduce order friction, enhance transparency, and improve operational efficiency through automation and intelligent workflows. Collaborating closely with product, data, and operations teams, we design and maintain mission-critical systems serving millions of users. Focused on technical excellence, observability, and proactive problem-solving, the team drives continuous improvements aligned with strategic goals across fulfillment and logistics domains.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level design and technical solutions for projects.
  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality software components and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and effective action plans.
  • Manage project requirements, translate them into technical deliverables, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment processes by automating routine tasks and implementing telemetry.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to small engineering teams, including offshore associates.
  • Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in platform design, API design, and component services.
  • Demonstrated ability in iterative and incremental development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Proficiency in debugging, dev testing, and documentation-based coding practices.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies including generative artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and business issues effectively.
  • Skilled in developing automation scripts and implementing telemetry features for enhanced system monitoring.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
