What you will doAs a Business Operations Manager within Partner Compliance, focused on IAR Risk & Oversight, you will take direct ownership of the onboarding and ongoing oversight of Introducer Appointed Representatives under Klarna’s UK regulatory framework. This is a hands-on position where you will personally conduct detailed end-to-end onboarding and Fitness & Propriety assessments, build robust and auditable evidence packs, and document clear, defensible risk positions aligned with SUP 12, CONC, AML, and Consumer Duty requirements. Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will apply sound judgement where frameworks are not always fully defined, confidently make independent decisions, and challenge constructively where regulatory expectations and commercial objectives diverge. You will balance pragmatism with regulatory rigour in real time while continuously strengthening oversight processes and shaping scalable ways of working, all while delivering high-quality day-to-day operational oversight.

Who you are• Experience in regulated financial services risk, compliance, onboarding, or partner oversight
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements, including SUP 12, CONC, AML, and Consumer Duty
• Comfortable taking hands-on responsibility for detailed assessments and operational delivery rather than delegating core work
• Confident operating independently without constant direction, making well-reasoned decisions and standing behind them with clarity
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments where processes are evolving
• Skilled at balancing regulatory rigour with pragmatic business judgement
• Experience producing audit-ready documentation and working effectively with incomplete information
• Clear and concise communicator who can challenge constructively and engage stakeholders across different levels of the organization

Awesome to have• Experience working in first line of defence risk or partner-facing compliance positions
• Experience contributing to governance forums or senior stakeholder reporting
• Experience in scaling or rapidly evolving organizations
• Exposure to Board-level governance reporting
• Experience designing or enhancing oversight frameworks
