Key Responsibilities

Prepares project plans and drives  the project from conception and planning to implementation. Will participate in the development of  strategies, processes and resources.

Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.

Coordinates allocated resources from within the Division  to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.  Initiates and manages purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.

Drives cost schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.

Participates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects.  Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.

Interfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.

Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.

Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.

  1. Functional Leadership & Team Management

  2. Lead matrixed operational team of New Product Manufacturing Engineers, Material Project Managers, DFX Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Supplier Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing Program Managers to manage program deliverables from Manufacturing Operations.

  3. Influence and energize teams without direct authority; foster a culture of ownership and execution.
  4. Engage Pilot Manufacturing to ensure early learning builds meet target milestones.

  5. Program Strategy & Roadmap

  6. Define and drive the strategic roadmap for NPI operations, aligning with long-term business objectives and product commercialization strategies.

  7. Lead consensus-building efforts across engineering, operations, and product management to ensure unified execution of program goals.
  8. Continuously assess and refine operational strategies to adapt to evolving business needs and market dynamics.
  9. Initiate and lead Operations strategies to improve business processes.
  10. Drive Product Life Cycle Operations deliverables for Business Unit New Product Introduction programs.

  11. Planning, Budgeting & Risk Management

  12. Direct and manage development of integrated program Schedules, Time, Budget, Cost Estimation, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely, cost-effective delivery.

  13. Oversee risk management strategies across NPI programs lifecycle, ensuring mitigation planning and progress monitoring align with strategic objectives.
  14. Cross-project interdependency management to manage conflicting priorities and plan resources.

  15. Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  16. Drive executive decision-making by facilitating executive-level reviews and presenting program status, strategic insights and risk mitigation plans to senior management.

  17. Coordinate and manage reporting processes that enable executive visibility and informed strategic decisions.
  18. Lead cross-functional review forums to drive alignment on strategic priorities and ensure decisions are executed across teams.
  19. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and success criteria.
  20. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by ensuring their needs are understood and met, providing regular updates, and incorporating feedback into strategic planning and execution.

  21. Technical Program Leadership

  22. Leverage technical expertise in semiconductor products, processes, and methodologies to guide functional strategy and optimize program outcomes aligned with business objectives.

  23. Provide strategic oversight to technical and engineering teams, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives, best practices and manufacturability goals.
  24. Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and apply them to enhance project outcomes.

  25. Operational Excellence

  26. Oversee the full lifecycle of New Product Introduction programs, from concept development through pilot builds to volume production.

  27. Lead stakeholder engagement efforts to define success criteria, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with business unit goals.
  28. Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program and defining the benefits that will realize the strategic objectives of the program.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
