Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Small businesses are the engine of the global economy, but the survival statistics are grim. Most small businesses don't fail from a lack of skill; they are suffocated by administrative overhead and cash flow bottlenecks. Entrepreneurs want to practice their craft, not manage back-office logistics. At QuickBooks, we are building the financial operating system to change this. By automating bookkeeping, payments, and cash flow, we eliminate the operational grind so owners can focus entirely on fueling their growth.
To achieve this, we treat Product Management as a highly hands-on craft. As a Principal Product Manager, you will drive product direction through rapid, iterative prototyping and fast learning cycles. You will co-design live with your engineering and design partners and actively use AI to accelerate your daily work.
This role is designed for leaders who thrive on autonomy, speed, and deep collaboration. By working this way, you have the freedom to turn messy problems into tangible solutions immediately. This hands-on approach dramatically accelerates our time-to-market and allows you to take intense pride in architecting a seamless, end-to-end journey that directly improves the financial lives of our customers.
As the Principal Product Manager for Task & Work Management, you’ll be responsible for helping revolutionize how small businesses manage and prioritize their day-to-day work leveraging AI to turn unstructured data (like client communications) and turn it into autonomously up-to-date task management, personalized & prioritized action items, and always on done-for-you agentic workflows. You’ll own how the Lead to Cash dashboard comes to life, coordinating across core L2C product teams as well as ecosystem offering teams to bring a simplified and unified experience to customers both within the app (homepage) and beyond (notifications, emails, push, etc.). You’re perfect for this role if you have experience building task management, productivity, project management tools and apps and have a vision for how work management across small business teams becomes streamlined and autonomous in the world of AI.
Responsibilities
- Drive Strategy Through Iteration: Lead product direction through rapid prototyping. Create mockups and concepts early, learn through fast feedback cycles in hands-on working groups, and share your findings to propel the product forward.
- Collaborate Fluidly: Co-design live with your cross-functional partners. Bring a strong, hands-on perspective to both technical and design discussions to foster seamless, dynamic collaboration and eliminate friction.
- Deliver the Holistic Journey: Operate with an intense sense of pride and urgency. Focus on delivering complete, end-to-end outcomes that genuinely solve the customer's core problems, going beyond isolated metrics to ensure a cohesive, impactful user experience.
- Apply an AI-Native Mindset: Use your technical fluency to uncover how emerging technology unlocks net-new customer value, and actively use AI tools to accelerate your own daily workflows and testing cycles.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven history of launching and scaling successful products.
- Hands-on Execution: A strong track record of conceptualizing, prototyping, testing, and iterating rapidly to drive product vision from idea to reality.
- Technical Fluency & AI Focus: Deep comfort engaging with engineering on technical architecture, combined with a forward-looking approach to utilizing AI in daily product development.
- Boundaryless Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work fluidly across disciplines, fostering a fast-paced, highly aligned team environment.
- Customer Obsession: A relentless drive to deeply understand the daily operational challenges of small businesses and create elegant, immediate solutions to solve them.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a closely related specialized field (an MBA or advanced degree is preferred). Equivalent experience will be considered.
