Job Description Summary Responsible for leading all information technology for a manufacturing plant, including the full scope of IT infrastructure and software applications that enable shop operations. As the Site IT Leader, you will own the performance, reliability, and availability of these systems and partner closely with business and operations teams to drive digital improvements and support continuous operational excellence. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Designs & implements the roadmap to drive digital improvements across IT infrastructure & application landscape. Influences LPBs and below on their decisions. Strong background supporting and stabilizing manufacturing site infrastructure (networking, PCs, wireless, RF scanners, printers, A/V, telecom). Performs as part of the Shop leadership team representing information technology. Partners with the business to participate in lean/ process improvement initiatives & enable business transformation leveraging digital tools. Familiar with all business applications in use at the site and have awareness of overall business flow. Familiar with the digital product catalog and how it fits in with site operations. Works on machine instrumentation initiatives to enable enhanced business operations. Proactively monitors network performance (WAN / LAN / WLAN) and escalate issues. Builds relationships with Central DT product teams for quicker resolution of networking and application issues. Initiates technology obsolescence and improvement projects. Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Manufacturing IT OR leading site-level IT operations within a plant environment Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience Eligibility Requirement: -Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Desired Characteristics: Experience supporting ERP or MES environments (not owning apps, but coordinating/escalating effectively). Lean / Six Sigma exposure.
