Business Intelligence Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication Division is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 4) to support our Supply Chain Integration Core Team in Auburn, Washington. Our Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain Functional Excellence – Performance & Integration team focuses on a data-driven transformation of the organization by providing real-time insights for complex business problems and enhances and aides their decision-making process. The selected candidate will partner with multiple business functions, understand data needs, and deliver high-impact dashboards, reports, process automations, or web applications. This role dominates end-to-end data workflows, from gathering requirements with stakeholders to designing robust data transformation pipelines and creating actionable BI dashboards. Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners to gather data requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical data solutions Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets for reporting Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate metrics, trends, and status updates using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos) Contribute to the development of a comprehensive data warehouse supporting analytics and reporting for a complex ERP system Design and optimize database schema, tables, indexes, and views for efficient data storage and retrieval Monitor and improve data quality, resolve pipeline errors, and enforce governance and documentation standards Support ongoing improvement of data processes and automation to reduce manual tasks and accelerate insights Provide technical guidance to data analysts and support cross-functional teams in interpreting and utilizing dashboard results Establish new, scalable, efficient, automated processes for tracking and reporting on progress of initiatives Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence roles building data pipelines and dashboards 5+ years of SQL proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in writing complex SQL queries and manipulating large datasets. Strong understanding of relational database concepts and experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, BigQuery, Oracle, and Teradata 5+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, RShiny, Power BI, Cognos) 3+ years of experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation, including common tools or orchestration frameworks 2+ years of experience developing complex DAX formulas and queries in Power BI Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or closely related field Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver actionable data products Demonstrated proficiency in data warehouse development, including the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of fact and dimension objects following Kimball dimensional modeling best practices Familiarity with data transformation and semantic modeling tools (e.g., dbt) Deep understanding of the DAX language and data modeling in Power BI Direct experience in Aerospace business functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, etc. Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation Experience with ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle EBS, etc.) Experience in working with ambiguous requirements, asking the right questions to extract business needs from stakeholders and translate into logical and physical data models Critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.   Total Rewards: At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent. Elements of the Total Rewards package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.     The Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.     The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.   Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Summary
