We are seeking a Senior Manager Infrastructure & Delivery Operations to lead the evolution of our global platform infrastructure and delivery practices. This is a hands-on engineering leadership position focused on enabling faster, safer delivery through modern DevOps, scalable backend foundations, and cross-site collaboration. You’ll partner closely with our multidisciplinary engineering teams to build the standards, pipelines, and tooling that ensure our systems can scale globally, perform efficiently, and remain fully compliant. What You’ll Work On Backend (Application Layer) Guide the design and evolution of distributed microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and event-driven systems that power our data and user experiences. Ensure enterprise-grade code quality, secure coding practices, and scalable design patterns (DDD, reactive programming). Drive performance optimization, ensuring p95/p99 latency targets are consistently met. Partner with multi-region delivery teams to align backend architecture and operational standards. Platform Enablement (Cloud Infrastructure & Tooling) Define and maintain standards for Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes orchestration (multi-region, HA clusters), and service meshes. Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary), leveraging modern toolchains to accelerate delivery. Ensure observability, monitoring, and logging frameworks deliver actionable insights, not just metrics. Partner with Security and Compliance teams to maintain regulatory alignment (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO). Optimize for scalability, cost, and simplicity across multi-region deployments. Cross-Team Strategy and Delivery Collaborate with Product, Data, and Security leaders to shape platform roadmaps and unblock execution. Identify capability gaps, lead architecture reviews, and drive build-vs-buy and standardization decisions. Champion developer experiences improvements through automation and shared tooling. Support release cadence and global delivery readiness in partnership with Release Management and QA. Required Qualifications: 10+ years combined experience in backend engineering (Java/Spring Boot) and cloud infrastructure/DevOps. 4+ years in technical leadership or engineering management roles. Proven success in implementing: Distributed microservices architectures Event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent) Database scaling strategies Multi-region cloud deployments with enterprise security requirements Knowledge of: CI/CD automation and deployment strategies Kubernetes and IaC (Terraform or equivalent) Observability, monitoring, and performance tuning Strong track record of leading teams and delivering enterprise-grade systems at scale. Preferred Qualifications Background in digital health, IoT, or other regulated industries (HIPAA, GDPR). Familiarity with distributed analytics platforms (Databricks, Spark). Experience defining SLAs/SLOs and leading capacity planning for high-throughput workloads. Strong stakeholder communication skills; ability to present technical strategy to executives and cross-functional partners.
