In this role you will be responsible for leading and charting the course of the Demand Planning, Procurement & Data Analytics technology product (and services) teams that build and transform Supply Chain technology capabilities that positively impact business outcomes. You will also be responsible for developing and leading highly talented teams that are built for delivering high-end and innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and mentoring in a technology-driven environment, with a strong focus within Supply Chain technology and Applications. The candidate should be a self-starter and have a strong passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry. Additionally, collaboration with cross-functional and global teams is required to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence. Maintain strategic relationships and strong communication with the leadership team about technology roadmaps and services to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged Attract and recruit top talent as part of an extensive Technology organization to be hired within India. Responsible for managing, growing, and developing the Amgen Technology team in India, ensuring global ways of working are imbedded in the local organization Work with Product Owners, Service Owners and/or delivery teams to ensure that delivery is aligned with commitments, acting as an escalation point and facilitating communication when service commitments are not met Participate in stakeholder and other leadership meetings, working with other parts of the organization, and functional groups to ensure successful delivery Oversee operating budget and product team budgets, ensuring regular review of actuals and latest estimates, managing according to agreed governance Serve as the global functional lead for Plant-to-Stock processes in the ERP implementation program, driving solution design, data harmonization, and deployment across sites. Provide functional leadership and best practice expertise across modules (SAP PP, SAP PP/DS, SAP QM) and Master Data. Ability to translate the enterprise’s aspirations for information sharing into the reality of detailed actions in the supply chain, quality, and technology organizations, including an understanding of data modeling, data quality, data management strategy to support business needs, data access methods, approaches and experience in data access systems for use in the pharmaceutical industry Expertise in analyzing supply chain data, identifying opportunities, and translating business needs into actionable technology strategies for impactful business transformation. Ensure compliance with GxP, SOX, and data governance standards for all processes and master data objects under your remit. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 5 years of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field experience OR Master’s degree and 9 years of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 11 years of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field experience In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 5 years’ experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above. Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning Solutions in Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP IBP and/or Anaplan systems Master’s degree in Business Administration or 10+ years in Supply Chain Management or Technology Management Domain expertise in Plan to Stock processes, analytics platforms, PLM and artwork/labeling management platforms, and supply and demand planning tools Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML-driven optimization or IoT-enabled inventory visibility solutions Familiarity with SAP ECC/S/4HANA modules and integration patterns Formal certifications in PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, or relevant supply chain/technology disciplines Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence leadership and build trusted partnerships across the enterprise Extensive project management experience leading enterprise-scale technology implementations Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar Agile-at-scale methodologies What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
