Role Overview: Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects related with turbomachinery blading vibrations using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. Improves processes utilizing AI/ML applications. Coordinates AI tool development projects, connecting engineering teams with software development experts. Advocates the culture of leveraging AI for daily work to increase productivity. Able to work in multi-disciplinary habitat to solve engineering problems via advanced engineering tools. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues. The Ideal Candidate: As an experienced Aeromechanics engineer with 7+ years of aerospace experience, strong FEM structural dynamics capability (modal/forced response) and deep knowledge of flow-stimulated vibration. Collaborative communicator who can drive AI/ML-enabled engineering productivity improvements and mentor teammates. Required Qualifications: At least 7 years experience in turbomachinery vibrations and/or analysis background in Aerospace Has good understanding of finite element method and hands-on experience in modeling especially in mechanical structural analysis, modal analysis, and forced response analysis. Has sound knowledge of vibrations and/or machine dynamics. Vibration experience on turbomachinery blading is a plus. A strong theoretical background is required to track the state of art in flow stimulated vibration especially on advanced predictive methods and experimental studies. This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience). Preferred Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
