As a seasoned Software Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end-to-end solutions to your clients. Using your software engineering expertise, you’ll analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have: 8+ years of experience in software development Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications Experience with Python and React Experience with modern programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, or software products Experience with Git Experience managing data with SQL, including MySQL or PostgreSQL, or NoSQL, including MongoDB, databases Ability to use back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or an Engineering field Nice If You Have: Experience with OPIR Experience with C#, C/C++, .NET, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal Knowledge of advanced strategic weapons threats Ability to write source code for new applications or generate and enhance code samples for existing applications Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Master's degree in Computer Science Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
