As a Sr. Strategic Program Manager, you will define and orchestrate AI programs spanning model development, infrastructure, safety, evaluation frameworks, product integration, and enterprise readiness. This role directly shapes how Adobe delivers AI-powered creativity to the world’s largest brands. You will partner directly with senior leaders across ML Engineering, Applied Research, Product, Security, Legal, and Go-to-Market to translate ambitious AI strategy into executable roadmaps with clear milestones, measurable outcomes, and disciplined delivery. This role requires strong technical depth in AI/ML systems, executive presence, and the ability to drive alignment across highly autonomous teams working at startup speed within a global enterprise. What You’ll Own End-to-End AI Program Leadership Partner with Product to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for large-scale GenAI initiatives across research, platform, and product surfaces Establish program structures, governance models, and success metrics that scale with platform growth Coordinate interdependent workstreams spanning research, model training, evaluation, inference infrastructure, and product integration Drive initiatives across model safety, brand controls, governance, data compliance, and enterprise feature capabilities Partner with Security, Legal, and Trust teams to ensure scalable and responsible AI deployment Ensure enterprise-grade reliability, observability, and operational excellence Align ML engineering, product, design, infrastructure, and business stakeholders on shared goals and execution sequencing Manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs across highly technical teams Build and maintain program scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting Run structured program reviews, scrum reviews, and operational cadences Drive accountability while enabling teams to operate with speed and autonomy Identify adoption blockers, technical debt risks, or scaling constraints early Partner with leadership to prioritize the highest-impact initiatives What You Bring Experience with strategic, operational, and technical program management experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives Deep understanding of AI/ML systems, including large language models, model training pipelines, inference systems, evaluation frameworks, and production ML infrastructure Experience leading large-scale GenAI or AI platform programs in high-growth or startup-like environments Proven ability to drive alignment among senior technical and product leaders without direct authority Strong systems thinking and ability to structure ambiguous, evolving initiatives Executive-level communication skills with the ability to distill complexity into clear decisions Experience operating in enterprise-grade environments with security, compliance, and reliability requirements You’ll Excel If You Thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve quickly Can move fluidly between strategic architecture discussions and operational execution Are comfortable challenging assumptions and driving clarity in highly technical debates Have a bias toward action, ownership, and measurable impact Care deeply about building responsible, scalable AI systems About Adobe Adobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences. Expected Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,300 -- $234,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $162,000 - $234,600 At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
